Achievements of the Kôrè Cultural Center

For the promotion of art and culture

• Organization of broadcast programs for artists and cultural actors each year;
• Support for the creation of the Kôrè Museum dedicated to the preservation and promotion of the patrimony of African music, dance, masks and puppets / Organization of museum exhibitions;
• Support for the creation of the Kôrè Institute of Arts and Métiers (IKAM) for adapted training for cultural entrepreneurs and artists, with a range of quality teaching on oral traditions;
• Creation of the Kôrè Media Library for players in the sector, a cultural reference library with specialized works on arts and culture;
• Contribution to making Ségou a cultural capital, with periodic meetings of professionals and art luminaries from the continent and elsewhere;
• Springboard to launch the careers of young artists and to disseminate their artistic works;
• Creation of a studio with an average of 5 artists produced;
• Creation and provision of the Kôrè Gallery for the promotion and organization of contemporary art exhibitions.
