GKAC

The GKAC, a cultural Consortium composed by the Fondation Festival sur le Niger, the Kôrè Cultural Center and the Kôrè Institute of Arts and Crafts (IKAM), functions as a single group in which human and financial resources are shared in a dynamic of synergy, solidarity and mutual aid. In this sense, the GKAC can represent each entity as needed. However, each entity retains its autonomy of management and action. The organizations that make up the group are distinct; each has its own legal personality. These entities work in synergy for the general interest of the group. GKAC entities pool their efforts and resources. They have a common objective and work on the basis of the values of Maaya: solidarity and mutual aid, in particular through the concept of Maaya Cultural Entrepreneurship created and experienced by Mamou Daffé and his team for more than 20 years in Ségou.
