AWA Project | ACP-EU Culture Program – Support for the cultural and creative sectors in West Africa

The AWA Project, ACP-EU CULTURE PROGRAM: SUPPORT FOR THE CULTURAL AND CREATIVE SECTORS IN WEST AFRICA, is a proposal from the Institut français de Paris consortium and the Kôrè Cultural Center in Ségou within the framework of the ACP-EU CULTURE PROGRAM, a joint initiative of the European Union (EU) and the Organization of African, Caribbean and Pacific States (OACPS). This is a new regional mechanism to strengthen the competitiveness of cultural and creative industries in ACP countries for 3 years.

This project aims to support the boosting of the competitiveness of the cultural and creative industries (CCI) throughout the value chain (creation, production and dissemination) in the 16 West African countries. This project will be implemented in partnership with the Kôrè Institute of Arts and Métiers(IKAM).

AWA Project – Regional Meeting of the ACP-EU Culture program on the sidelines of the professional meetings of the 12th edition of Masa held today March 9, 2022 at the Palais de la Culture in Abidjan.

Official opening of the AWA Project stand at the MASA fair with the visit of the Ivorian Prime Minister, as part of the West Africa meeting of the ACP-EU Culture Program: support for the cultural sectors on the sidelines of the Professional Meetings of the MASA 2022. The stand remains open to visitors from March 7 to 12, 2022 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Good luck to our winners.
